My name is Alison Chicosky and I have accepted a nomination for treasurer of Free Spirit Alliance.

I would bring a variety of skills to the table in this role. I have worked for a major bank for about 8 years total, much of that time as an analyst with a heavy focus on database engineering. My talents include tagging data with categories and analyzing trends, skills which I believe would be useful when applied to FSA’s existing financial records. This would allow FSA to see where our money is being spent. I would also like to differentiate between capital and non-capital expenditures. Incidentally, I also have experience with fundraising, from a prior job in development for another non-profit.

Personally, I am a believer in FSA’s mission, and try to network with other attendees as much as possible every event. I have had staff positions at FSG for the last two years. Though at the time of these elections I will only have been a member for a year and a half, I have tried to attend as many member meetings as possible in that year and a half and have familiarized myself with this organization.
