Membership in FSA is open to anyone that shares our values and beliefs.

If you're already a member, you may renew your membership via PayPal or with any event registration.

We offer several levels of membership:

For folks just getting involved, there is associate membership, which costs just $25/year and gets you discounts to events. It's easy to join as an associate member: complete the online application, or download, print, and fill in the paper form (pdf). After you've completed either version of the application, please send a note and a check/MO to the Treasurer[*] or use PayPal to send in your first year's dues.

If you want to have a voice and a vote in the future of FSA, and you've been an associate member for at least a year and a day, you may wish to apply for a voting membership, which costs $45/year. While anyone who attends a business meeting may contribute to discussions of issues, you must be a voting member if you want to cast a vote or run for elected office or trustee. If you want to become a voting member, please download, print, and submit the voting membership application (pdf). You'll need to sign it in the two places indicated and get two voting members in good standing to sign it as your sponsors.

Voting members may also become lifetime members. Lifetime memberships cost $500, and grant you all the rights of voting members, plus an invitation to a special reception at each year's Free Spirit Gathering, with no further dues payments required. Please contact the Secretary if you wish to convert your voting membership to a lifetime membership.
