Upcoming Meetings

Anyone may send suggestions for agenda items to the Secretary, and everyone is welcome to attend our business meetings. Voting members who cannot attend are encouraged to send in proxies (which may be emailed to Proxies).

Three business meetings are planned for 2010; one in the Spring, most likely early in April; one at Free Spirit Gathering in June; and one in the Fall.

 

FSA currently conducts its business meetings using Robert's Rules of Order. One item on the 06 December meeting agenda requested that we consider alternate business meeting formats. Among those discussed briefly at the meeting were Martha's Rules and the Short Guide to Consensus. A decision on the adopting an alternate format was tabled; several people were asked to make brief formal presentations on various meeting formats to the Spring business meeting. If you'd like to make a presentation or request one, please send a note to the Secretary.
