Mystics of Secrets
The Temple of Secrets invites you to explore how your guilt, shame, and fear—your secrets— hold you back and how bringing that darkness into the light can enable you to experience a higher level of love and intimacy with yourself, your loved ones, and the Divine.
As Mystics of the Temple of Secrets, together we will embrace the darkness within us; the hidden places that harbor our wildest desires, our most intense fears, and all of the unspoken thoughts that linger within our heart. Secrets of love and hate, fear and courage, joy and pain, guilt and shame, all find their place within this Temple, recognized and honored as sacred by Venus.
The Mystics of the Temple of Secrets will create a safe haven for all to uncover their darkness and their light. We will challenge each other to be fully aware and in the present moment, to share sacred Secrets, and to honor and guard the shared secrets of fellow mystics as sacred. As Mystics of Secrets we will share our deepest longings, our fantasies, and our hidden truths. We will be open to exploring our sensuality and sexuality with a lover, many lovers, or in self-love within the luxury of safe and sacred space. As Mystics of Secrets we will encourage each other to seek our true divine nature by speaking, emoting, or acting out our truths in the way that our soul is calling us to. We will push past our boundaries, into the stillness of our soul where our Spirit knows only what is real, what is true… what is Sacred.
But what are we going to do?
In the light of day, we will explore ways to create open connections and facilitate sharing. Through discussion, meditation, and fun, we will dive into the reasons why we keep secrets, why we share secrets, and how releasing our secrets can lead us to healing, connection, and empowerment. We will also explore the positive effects of keeping or sharing secrets with those whom we trust and also the dangers, sometimes hidden, behind keeping negative secrets bound up tightly inside of us.
In the darkness of night, we will bring forth whatever we have to hide, unearth it, and offer it in sacred sacrament to Venus, encouraging our Community to do the same and leading by example through embracing our vulnerabilities.
Keepers of the Temple of Secrets
As a sacred ritual creator and facilitator, Nikki strives to personalize and strengthen individual experiences tailored to all involved. A practicing Pagan priestess since 1996, she has spent the years in between learning, leading, and always growing through her personal investment in education, ritual production, and community focused involvement. Serving as both Treasurer for Sacred Mark Sanctuary and Steering Committee member for TNG Baltimore, her primary interests lie in spiritual connection through sacred sexuality, BDSM and kink-aware advocacy, ordeal path ritual, group dynamic facilitation, and furthering the general understanding of alternative lifestyle psychology.
Lily, or “Flower” as she is affectionately known, has spent her life doggedly pursuing personal growth and union with the Divine. She started in the pagan community in 2002, volunteering as an event coordinator and a vendor coordinator for PagaNet News. Shortly thereafter, she became a member of Four Quarters Farm, where she danced her first all night fire circle as part of an ordeal ritual and promptly fell in love with that style of worship. She began to priestess ceremonies in service to community in a mostly eclectic Wiccan and ecstatic framework. Most recently, Lily has aligned her professional work with her values and has become a Certified Massage Therapist and Registered Yoga Teacher. Lily’s mission in her spiritual and professional lives is to assist others in living empowered, loving lives by working to heal the mind-body-spirit connection so that they can experience themselves and others as they truly are: whole, no more and no less than a child of God… Sacred.
