Fires of Venus

Core Groups in the Temple of Venus

New in 2010, when you register for Fires of Venus,
you will select and sign up to be part of a Core Group.

What will your Core Group do? Led by members of the ritual staff, you’ll meet each afternoon to deepen your experience at Fires of Venus. You may work together to decorate the Temple, share stories of your FoV experiences, learn playful exercises or meditative techniques together, or make plans for offerings and participation in that evening’s ritual. Each Core Group will be a little bit different.

The rest of the day, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to join other workshops and discussions or take some time to play or rest. And when we come together for ritual each evening, you won’t just be a spectator—you, along with your Core Group—will be integral to the magical experience we all share in the Temple of Venus. We hope you will whole-heartedly embrace this opportunity to build community together.

There are a limited number of spots available for each group, so register early for the best selection. We have twelve groups for you to choose from—Venus is calling you to join.

Elementals

Elementals represent and tend the physical body of the Temple of Venus. Should you choose to become an Elemental of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, or Rhythm, you will be an essential building block for our Fires of Venus rituals.

Mystics

Mystics represent and tend the emotional body of the Temple of Venus. Should you choose to become a Mystic of Affection, Secrets, Surrender, Dreams, or a Guardian, you will explore the mysteries of love and romance and provide a safe, sacred space for our Fires of Venus rituals.

Mirrors

Mirrors are those who are called to emulate the duality of Venus and her Consort, representing the spiritual body of the Temple of Venus. Should you choose to become a Mirror of the Cauldron, you, like Venus, will practice being a mirror-window of the universe, reflecting unconditional Love. Should you choose to become a Mirror of the Flame, like the Consort, you will work to illuminate that face in the mirror.

Venus emanates love; She radiates it unconditionally, and those who come to her know bask in perfect affection. The Consort loves conditionally, with direction and discrimination, and strives to be the best and brightest to more fully match the perfection of the Goddess of Love.

The Hearth

The Hearth is at the center of the Temple, and the Hearth’s group is the Temple Builders.
