Elementals of Earth
The Elementals of Earth manifest and embody the love of Venus by creating a place of grounding in the ritual; we are solid, nurturing, and safe. We are the kite string that keeps the kite from flying away. We tend to the physical needs of the whole.
As an Elemental of Earth, you will join together with others who identify with Earth/the earth. Through guided meditation and exercises, you will connect more fully with each other and with the earth, learning to stay grounded while raising energy. This will be carried into the fire circle as we help others to ground. You will also have the opportunity to prepare offerings of food for the fire circle, and to feed this food to the participants.
Keepers of Earth
Michael is a long-time magical practitioner, Priest, and funeral director. He specializes in rites of passage, particularly end-of-life rituals. He works with people of many faiths and practices an eclectic mix of Eastern meditation and Wiccan ritual with ceremonial roots. Michael also facilitates workshops and classes with his partner Sabrina Mari. He serves in the Temple of Venus as Keeper of Earth and drummer.
Earth Keeper Kate spends her days doing lots of logistical planning, and her weekends making sure others have the resources they need; one might think this “grounding” thing is a calling—and so it is. She is a Priestess, a magician, a lover, a partner, and a student of the Universe. She has experience working with people of many spiritual paths, with a particular interest in rites of ordeal, rites of passage, peer, and grief counseling. Kate is an eclectic artist, and enjoys crafting rituals of many kinds. She serves in the Temple of Venus as Vice Keeper of Earth, and as a fire-spinner and fan-dancer.
