Pool Rules
- No diving. If you argue with the lifeguard on duty about this, he/she is authorized to eject you from the pool area.
- No running.
- No smoking, no food, and no drinks—except drinking water in a non-glass container—is allowed inside the pool fence. You may smoke, eat, or drink outside the pool fence on the paved area between the pool and the dining hall.
- No one under 15 is permitted in the pool area without a guardian; no more than 3 people under 15 with a guardian. The age limits are set by state regulations; do not ask us to make exceptions for you or your child.
- Lifeguards and Pool Watch Community Service people may not watch children or act in a guardian capacity. There are no exceptions. Do not ask us to do this.
- Any person who is not a member of the Camp staff found in or around the pump house will be expelled from the Gathering and from Camp property—no warnings, no refunds, period.
- Non-potty-trained humans in the pool must wear rubber pants with elastic legs over cloth diapers or swim diapers; standard disposable diapers are not sufficient and not permitted.
- You may swim at your own risk during hours when there is no lifeguard on duty; however, please keep the noise down after 10:00p. Sound from the pool can be heard all over camp; be considerate of the folks staying nearby. If there are noise complaints, we may close and lock the pool overnight.
- The pool is closed on Sunday.
