From Lady Amber of Amber Rose

To the FSG Community

The School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has been my passion for over 10 years. I formulated the School with a two-fold purpose: first, to offer a series of workshops for the Seekers that I felt were being ignored: the children who attended Free Spirit Gathering; second, to help the members of my Coven become more comfortable teaching children, especially those did not have the opportunity to deal with children on a regular basis.

For 10 years we offered a series of classes that went far beyond the traditional “arts and crafts” and taught the children real magick along with magical ethics. And we had a lot of fun doing it! With the help of so many members of the FSG Community, we made wands, and robes, and mojo bags, and herb gardens, and poppets, and astrology charts, and bath salts, and candles, and brooms, and herb tea. We learned to use pendulums, and dowsing rods, and dream pillows, and meditation tools. We discovered the power of aromatherapy, and runes, and tasseomancy, and glamoury. We chanted and danced and explored Ramblewood. And we created ritual so powerful it made us cry.

In recent years, it has become more and more difficult for me to continue presenting the School. It was painful to think that I might have to compromise the quality of the classes due to my physical limitations.

But the wonderful people of Blue Star have agreed to pick up the torch and breathe new fire and energy into the School and curriculum.

My sincerest thanks to those Teachers who have given of their time and talents for the last 10 years, and to those who will teach in the new School. You have touched the future and shared my vision. Goddess Bless.

Love and Light,
Lady Amber, Headmistress (Ret.)
