This workshop is for young women 13–17. We'll cover real facts about how their female bodies work and how to take a proactive and empowered position when making decisions about sexuality and reproductive health. For many young women, coming of age is a confusing time. With contradictions of overt sexuality in the media and an education in abstinence, many young women get lost in between such extremes. Topics of discussion include: female reproductive anatomy, menstruation, self breast exams, what to expect at OB-GYN visits, and STDs and Safety. [Young Adult-only]
