​For more than a decade, Abraham Street has been an educator and facilitator of everything from body modification to spirituality to kink, sometimes merging all three together. Abraham is a performing artist, Reiki master, ritual drummer, and a past professional body mod artist. With interests including BDSM, Tantra, D/s and M/s relationships, rigging, and sacred sexuality, Abraham offers his unique and sacred/profane view on subjects ranging from blood play to energy play and beyond. As Vice-President of Sacred Mark Sanctuary, he works to help people connect their bodies and spirits through ritual and ordeal. He also serves as Keeper of the Hearth at Fires of Venus, acting as priest, director, and MC for the ritual team.

Amy Lawrence is known to many of us by the apt sobriquet 'firegoddess.' She has been firetending and involved with fire circle rituals and sacred arts circles for several years and for several organizations. Her focus is on healing the collective via the individual expansion of awareness, one heart and mind at a time. Always present, she will be helping hold the Heart and Hearth of the Alchemical Fire.

Michael Griffyn has been a student, teacher and researcher in Western and Eastern metaphysical and healing arts for more than 30 years, and is a practitioner of many disciplines including Sound Healing, Alchemy, Wicca, Kabbalah, and Tantric yoga. Michael is a long-time practitioner of the art of using sound and the voice for healing the body. He is also a fire shaman, priest, guide, healer, and a member of the Beneficent Order of the Greenman. Michael currently has a coven and a Sound Therapy practice in Laurel, Maryland.

MoJoe makes his living these days as an entertainment rigger and tinker-at-large and has been working in the theater, film and special event world for 20 years, ran the Dancing Tree Cafe at FSG for 8 years, and is often highly involved in whatever festival/gathering he finds himself. He considers himself a Modern Tinker and seeks to continually add to his skill base and engage in metapsychospiritual discussion/growth every chance he gets. Joy is the name of the game and creating harmony on all levels of life is the tool. Love is Everything, so let us build a fire of compassion, gratitude and joy and remember to laugh and smile whenever possible. The focusing of energy to create a safe environment for you to grow and celebrate is my personal goal for this event. If you need an attentive ear and mind, I got it covered, and if you need a shoulder or a hug, I got that too. Let us conspire to create ritual/freeform/planned/spontaneous theater/magic of the highest orders. May we all find our joyful center and then ripple. May we grow our individual consciences and hence raise the collective mind. No effort is wasted if it leads to sociological growth even in the time frame of eons. Namasté.

Shane has been working with various groups of Pagan, LARPers, and Freaks to produce some wonderful and magical experiences for people for a number of years. He is an amateur goldsmith (the main metal currently is silver); he is a tinkerer and maker; he has helped produce rituals with Kindlers of the Sacred Rhythm, Sacred Mark Sanctuary, and the Circle of Dark Eros. His work has to do with site and area prep, special effects (Shane makes really cool stuff happen with fire), sound systems and effects (back lines and atmospheres), and just generally making stuff happen. Shane has also been seen on staff at various Pagan, LARP, and Freak events such as SuspenDC, 1936: Horror and 1948: Signals, FSG, and Sacred Sexuality Beltane. This year, Shane is working with the Alchemical Fire Ritual Team and hoping to create and share more Magic with you all.
Alchemical Fire Ritual

Alexandros is a gay male artist with over ten years of university teaching experience and nearly thirty years of experience as a professional artist. Although not a true nudist (he wears clothes most of the time for practical reasons), his interest in the body as a divine vehicle stems from his aesthetic concerns and his study of pagan-inspired visual approaches in Roman Catholic art since the Renaissance. As a spiritual humanist, he believes that all bodies are beautiful and should be treated and viewed with dignity and respect. He believes that body shame and unrealistic body images are among the most damaging aspects of modern developed societies.

Anita Wagner advocates for the interests of polyamorists with enthusiasm and determination, and loves to help them find joy and happiness by providing helpful info in her educational programs on subjects like poly and spirituality, jealousy and other pitfalls, poly/mono relationships, and poly for kinky people. She has presented programs at Good Vibrations, Sex 2.0, Dark Odyssey, Black Rose, Building Bridges, Free Spirit Alliance's Beltane Gathering and Fires of Venus, Florida Poly Retreat, Transcending Boundaries, Poly Living, and the Loving More© Conferences. She's a member of the Polyamory Leadership Network and serves as poly community advisor to CARAS. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Loving More© and Unitarian Universalists for Polyamory Awareness. She's a veteran community organizer and co-founder of an alternative relationships non-profit organization. Arakeane & Selene: Arakeane exploits the diversity of his religious, sexual, and spiritual background to bring a unique mix of talent to the pagan community. His Baptist, Methodist, Evangelical, Thalamic, and Mormon background from his early years intermingles with his vast experience in sadomasochism, liberal sexuality, and avant-garde spirituality tempered by his various Wiccan experiences and practices for the past 20 years. A Naval Officer, Engineer, Physicist, Computer Scientist, and Dungeon Master by trade, Arakeane interleaves his professional training into his quest for spiritual awareness and comprehension. The thrice sworn soul-mate of the High Priestess Selene, Arakeane has been in the public Pagan forum since the late 1980s. Most noted for his open work entwining diverse pagan practices with Wicca, Arakeane has been an embarrassment to fundamentalists from many Pagan traditions for well over a decade. A Distinguished Toastmaster, off-Broadway New York actor, trained in NLP, holistic healing, and a diverse set of other spiritual disciplines, Arakeane's spontaneous and entertaining presentation style typically delights his audience. Even if you've taken a previous year's workshop, you're sure to be delighted with the changes introduced and Arakeane's ability to spiritually immerse you in the subject matter.

I am trained and was given permission to pour water in 2000 by Ivo Domínguez, Jr and Diane Shevira Stonewater, and currently pour the Wiccan 5 Parts of Self protocol, in the tradition of the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel. I am a 3rd Degree initiate of the Assembly, and a member of Keepers of the Holly Chalice, Water of Water, in the Circle of Pisces.

Bobbi & Kim: Bobbi Sheaffer has been pagan since she was introduced to the Greek pantheon in sixth grade. While festivals are relaxing and regenerative, she feels that it's also vital for people in recovery to have a structured 12-step meeting time and place. Bobbi makes her home at an old farmhouse in the beautiful mountains of Central PA, and she's been in the fields of psychotherapy and addictions for 16 years.

Caroline Kenner is a Washington Witchdoctor, a shamanic healer trained over the course of twelve years by Michael Harner and Sandra Ingerman of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, and other fine shamanic teachers. In addition to her shamanic training, Caroline has received initiations and ceremonies in diverse spiritual traditions. She is a third degree Wiccan priestess initiated by Gavin Bone and Janet Farrar, and has also been initiated by the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel into their Order of Wandering Stars. Caroline has received a number of ceremonies in La Regla de Ocha de Lukumi, often known as Cuban Santería. She wears the Necklaces and holds the cauldron of the Warriors, and two soperas. She is also is legally ordained in the state of Maryland and helps produce the Sacred Space Conference, held every February.

Cat Castells is both a High Priestess in the Blue Star Tradition of Wicca and a member of Godhooks, a collective that brings individuals and communities the opportunity, support, and safe space in which to embrace transformative change. She lives in New Hope, PA with her daughter and one of her partners. Through Turtle Hill Events, Cat creates spiritually-oriented gatherings that bring diverse communities of people together. Claire M. Sagewell is a Reiki Master Teacher, a Priestess, an Interfaith Minister and Spiritual Counselor, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree. An eclectic Witch for over 20 years, both as a solitary and a coven member, she is deeply committed to the scholarly, healthy, and balanced growth of the Pagan Community. To these ends, she is working on the publication of A Pagan Seder, which was recently mentioned on WitchVox and is the only one of its kind. She also continues to teach and write, and is deeply involved in building the skills and knowledge to found her own coven. She was recently honored to be accepted into the Masters of Divinity program at Cherry Hill Seminary for Pagan Studies and looks forward to being of service to the community, both Pagan and non-Pagan, with her favorite Druid by her side. Conrad Kubiak, owner of Spirit in the Wood Drum Company, is a master drum-maker whose designs are inspired by instruments from West Africa and Latin America as well as Native American shamanic traditions. Ashikos, Djembes, Congas, Batas, Bombas, Cajones, Kit Drums, and the Aboriginal Didgeridoo are among the instruments he builds and plays. Kubiak is an innovator in the manufacture of one piece solid wood drums. Spirit in the Wood sells both Kubiak's original instruments and traditional ones which he reinforces, refurbishes, and re-tunes. The process of making the instruments involves ritual precision while transforming the wood and finding its voice. In the Ivory Coast it is said: “A drummer gives voice to a tree.”

In addition to drum-making activities and workshops, Kubiak also leads corporate consultant leading team-building and motivational exercises during interactive seminars. As the facilitator of drum circles, ceremonies, and White Moment Rhythm Workshops, he develops outreach programs focusing on building communication, improving group dynamics, and appreciating other cultures. Through participatory experience, “white moments” (when left and right hemispheres of the brain are both synchronized and in-phase) are created and everything and everyone slows down as our minds move to a higher state of consciousness. Kubiak draws on his background in NLP as well as his work in the healing arts as a certified Shiatsu therapist, Reiki Master, CranioSacral therapist, and Feng Shui practitioner. In addition to a spiritual path that includes Sufism and Native American studies, he holds degrees in Irish literature, biology, and computer electronics. Kubiak also presented a paper on the “Psychology of Rhythm” at the Creative Arts Therapies Conference in Philadelphia and led a drumming circle in Atlantic City for members of the theatrical troupe performing in STOMP.

David Wonderlin has been studying Native American ways for most of his life, as well as Wicca and Eastern spiritual practices in his adult years. After receiving his sweat lodge lineage from Stonewater, he began pouring sweats in 1996. He has been the head fire keeper for Vision Quest ceremonies for eight years. As a healer, David assists people through personal transformations using a variety of healing techniques and prayerful contemplation.

Deborah Lipp is the author of five books: The Study of Witchcraft, Elements of Ritual, The Way of Four, The Way of Four Spellbook, and The Ultimate James Bond Fan Book. One of these things is not like the others. Deborah became a Gardnerian Witch in 1982 and a High Priestess in 1986, and has been teaching Wicca and running Pagan circles ever since. Eric S comes to pagan/heathen practice after an early life in multiple forms of Christianity, then spending over 20 years as an atheist. When he first encountered Norse practice, he was surprised to find out that it fit most of what he already did and believed in life, minus the deities. Eric now follows a Norse path influenced by classical philosophy, pragmatism, and scholarship. Ing, the daughter of a ballet teaching, costume designing, New England Sunday School teacher (oh, they still burn witches) and a Marine Colonel, learned survival of the Spirit at a very young age by studying and seeking out the good in all the popular religions and using that good as her modus operandi. Granddaughter of an All Medal Olympic Coach and a Madison Square Garden equestrian shower, Ing has spent most of her life performing the living arts comprised of several forms of dance, song, comedy, and drama in multi-media formats in NYC, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Philadelphia for over 45 years. Ing considers performance art a highly specialized focused work often using improv as a foundation for channeling Soul & Good Spirits to come through, and it is one of her fields of expertise. Ing has stared in works by Edward Vilella and been pictured in The New York Times and the Star Ledger (NJ) as the lead dancer for The Edward Vilella Dance Ensemble and The New Jersey Ballet Company. She studied religiously in the apprentice class of American Ballet Theatre in NYC as well as at the Joffrey ballet school. She has been privately coached by many dance legends. Ing studied comedy via life, as well as, with an alumnus of Second City TV and others. She was a runner up for Mattel Toys' Singing Barbie being pictured in The Philadelphia Inquirer. Ing has had articles published in pagan magazines, and her photographic work, book reviews, and letters have been published in muggle magazines such as Vogue and W Magazine. She produced and costarred in a cable TV show in PA while having her own performing arts troupe in Philadelphia for several years. She is currently marketing a musical comedy she has written as well as her first book, You Are God. An autobiography is in the works.

Ing enjoys walking between worlds, which also led her to finding joy in working as a hospice volunteer. A great lover of Humans and the Spirit in all things in many dimensions, she lives to share her own unique insights with the world while at the same time spreading Joy through Light. For her whole, life Ing has worked with stones, gems, and other objects to perform the magick in her own life. has been a festival participant for a few decades and is now thankfully blessed with her loving husband, Nor, who is so much more gracious than she is! She spent her first few years listening to her great-grandmother speak about subjects as diverse as plants, stones, the weather, people, and music. As Izolda progressed in her chosen fields of environmental education (she traveled the world for NASA teaching environmental education workshops), musical and tarot reading goals, she additionally began study of the energy workings of Reiki and Chi energy and yoga. She has been a Tai Chi practitioner and teacher for over 13 years, and she is a certified Reiki practitioner. She is also a yoga practitioner and facilitates yoga study groups at local Maryland community centers as well providing individual and class instruction. Jaqui MacMillan found her passion for African drumming in the early 1980s. Over a span of thirteen years, she studied with many Masters, including Babatunde Olatunji, Mamady Keita, Sam Turner, and Mahiri Fadjimba Keita at the Tam Tam Mandingue School in Washington, D.C. Having performed and recorded with some of the top names in the business, she began sharing her joy of drumming with others by teaching classes and facilitating community drum circles. Jaqui has taught privately and given workshops throughout the USA for over seventeen years through her program, Drum For Joy! WAMA awarded Jaqui the 'World Music Instrumentalist Award' every year from 1995 through 2002 and she was featured in the Women Drummers 2000 issue of DRUM! Magazine.
