Native Based Sweat Lodge Ceremony - David Wonderlin (Sun Bear/Beautiful Painted Arrow; Hot)
This is a Native American based sweat lodge welcoming people of all traditions. It is a four round lodge, where each round honors a direction and an element. Participants will have the opportunity to pray for themselves, their friends and family, Earth Mother, and all things. There will also be time for quiet contemplation in the darkness of the Mother's womb. Folks are encouraged to come with an open heart and allow themselves to be vulnerable. ancestors, and personal guides. (Herbs: Cedar, Sage, Sweet Grass, Copal, Amber, Lavender, Osha, Dragon's Blood)

Welcome - West (Plains; Moderate)
Plains-style sweatlodge, relaxing, focusing, and invigorating. We'll honor the lodge, ancestors, and land. This will be intended as gentle and refreshing, for those of us (including me!) who don't perform this ritual regularly. Bring 2 towels, Water, and a totem object for blessing. Attend skyclad or in loose wrap, like a robe or sarong. On the day of the sweatlodge, don't have any alcohol beforehand, and drink a liter of water prior to the sweatlodge start time. We will talk a bit beforehand, and I'll explain the sweatlodge fully. The group will guide how I conduct the pour. (Herbs: Sage)
