21st Century Divining: Remote Viewing Intro - Tashi (Cheryl Costa)
Remote Viewing (RV) is a controlled and trainable mental divining process involving psi (psychic
ability). RV is considered a controlled shifting of awareness that is performed in the normal waking state
of consciousness, allowing the gathering of descriptive data relating to a "target," which is usually some
place or event at some point in time. RV requires both training and regular practice to become
proficient.
21st Century Divining: Remote Viewing Workshop - Tashi (Cheryl Costa)
In this session, you will be exposed to the basic elements of Remote Viewing (RV) training. The
elements of ideograms, probing, descriptive process and monitoring will be discussed. Later in the
work shop the participants will be given a guided RV session with the instructor as the event monitor.
Generally, right-brained artistic personalities fare better than more analytical, mathematically inclined types.

attendance at Reexamining the Younger is recommended.

A Guide to Pagan Festivals... for Non-Pagans - Geoff H.
So, here you are. You care about your SO or your friend, you want to do things with her or him... and
so you're joining her or him at FSG. But you may have some questions... like who are these people?
What are they doing? What's there for me to do? And, perhaps most intriguingly, why is a naked guy
riding around on a bicycle? Join us for a chance to meet other supportive non-Pagans and discuss these
questions and more in an open and friendly atmosphere.
Acting and Movement for Ritual Drama - Kaitlin Creed
Acting and Movement for Ritual Drama integrates the principles of method acting (also known as the
Stanislavsky technique) and the Neo-Pagan practice of mediating the energies of Deity. We will also

language of movement. This workshop places a heavy emphasis on participation and is open to both
experienced performers and those interested in developing new skills.

however they may view Deity.

greater acceptance of ourselves, our sexuality, and each other.

welcome. All exercises are optional and non-sexual.
Bodypaint and Paintings Workshop - Taylor Ellwood
Painting can be a very expressive form of doing magic. And while not all of us are gifted artists, this
does not mean we can't use the medium of paint as a way of expressing our magical intentions. This
workshop introduces people to two ways I use paints in my own magical workings. The first way is
through the body with the specific goal being to paint your intentions on your body and manifest those
intentions through the intimacy of paint on flesh, as well as through ritual. The second method is based
off of automatic writing, but instead I automatically paint my spells into existence through the medium of
water color. Examples of paintings are provided as well as an opportunity to experiment with the paints.

are doing. You can participate in either or both the first and second sessions, and you may come and
go at any time throughout the session. This is a "no-obligations" environment and there is no requirement
to either work on someone or have work done on you or to return a healing done for you by someone

separate space to address their spiritual needs. The rituals and practices of the Hermes Council are
based on Wiccan and Native American traditions, and will probably be familiar to you. What is unique
about us is the degree of honesty and communication that we share in our ritual space.
After a short (10-15 minute) introduction, we will perform a mens'-only ritual in the Hermes Council
tradition. The ritual will include a council, where we'll pass around a talking stick and give every
participant a chance to speak. Please feel free to bring drums and other musical instruments, cups for

Those in leadership and service roles often find themselves in the position of providing support and
advice to students and others in pain or confusion. How can you develop a basic set of lay counseling
skills that offer the right kind of help without inappropriately crossing (or bending) professional
boundaries? How can you best guide students and colleagues when they need spiritual help? And when
should you refer someone to the professional counseling sector? This workshop explores these
questions believing that a compassionate person can provide a safe space in which individuals can
identify and address daunting personal issues without sacrificing a spiritual interpretation of their
problems. Basic counseling skills will be discussed. We will also examine some of the unique tools
those on a spiritual path can use to be of service (i.e. ritual, divination, imagery, energetic/magical
assistance and divine intervention). The format will be a combination lecture, facilitated discussion and
small group exercises. Interested individuals of all backgrounds and experience levels are welcome.

Helping Students Overcome Resistance and Learn to Work with Energy: This workshop tackles the
problem of teaching energy work and magic to students who doubt that they can do it. We will start by
sharing a few stories of personal resistance and quickly move into a review of the ways in which almost
everyone moves energy and uses magic every day. The group will then learn a sneaky set of exercises
designed to help teachers nudge their students into magical work without triggering fear, doubt and
under-confidence. Participants will be asked to partner with another person for several exercises, so
either arrive with a working partner or come willing to meet new people and work with them. The
workshop will culminate in the use of a Braided Stream/Blue Star technique for entering altered states
of consciousness. Part of the PoS track.

Managing Personal Involvement - Brian Gallagher
How do we, as teachers, healers, clergy, lay-counselors and guides, manage to avoid being sucked into
other peoples' dramas and establish strong boundaries so that those we help learn to help themselves?
How do we both "serve others" and "have a life" of our own? This class discusses a variety of
techniques that are useful in managing the amount of personal involvement we invest in each of those
that we strive to help. Techniques include "the FedEx Guy Technique," "Giving Homework," and "The
Three Day Rule," ensuring that our time is not monopolized by certain individuals, establishing our role
as "presenting options" not as "solving problems," ways to determine if we are wasting our time
"helping" someone who does not want to change, redirecting to other media, and visible symbols of
availability. Feel free to bring and share your own life-management techniques with others. Part of the
PoS track.

("Ornament") and Hnossi ("Treasure" or ""The Lady") As leader of the Valkyries, she takes half those
slain in battle and is traditionally associated with death and sexuality.
Sunna - The Norse Goddess of the Sun. In Norse mythology, the Sun is female, while the Moon is
male. She drives the chariot of the Sun across the sky every day. Pulled by the horses Allsvinn ("Very
Fast") and Arvak ("Early Rising"), the Sun-chariot is pursued by the wolf Skoll. It is said that sometimes
he comes so close that he is able to take a bite out of the Sun, causing an eclipse.
NeoPagan Ethics & Philosophy - Trish Telesco
Defining ethics and morals is part of the process of becoming an established religion. As the neo-pagan
movement grows and matures, it's only logical that we would struggle to find common ground with
ethical questions. How we go about determining personal and communal ethics in a sea of options, and
how do those ethics figure into the "greatest good--an it harm none" equation? Open forum; Come
ready to share; let's build the bridges together! Note that some ethical issues may only be suited to adult
attendance.
New Approaches to Traditional Ways of Doing Magic - Taylor Ellwood
This workshop is about being innovative with magical concepts. I will introduce you to how I do
banishing, purification, invocation and other forms of traditional magic in a different way than is usually
depicted in the books we read. Why change something that works, you ask? Because innovativeness is
a form of discipline and a successful magician never relies on what others have done but creates his/her
own way. My goal is to inspire you to take a different approach to how you do magic. Learn how to
invoke yourself into a god form or person. Learn how purification can sometimes be a near death
experience and how banishing can teach you how to discover what is really meaningful in your life.
Learn how to do magic in a new way.
Northern-Tradition Shamanism - Raven Kaldera
Most folks who are drawn to shamanism in its various forms gravitate to Native American practices
because they are indigenous to our land, but these are not for everyone. Over the last several years,
some folks have been slowly reconstructing, partly through research and partly through working with
the Gods and spirits, a shamanic practice with a northern European context. If these are your
ancestors--and even if they aren't-- you may want to examine this shamanic practice as it is unfolding.
From Neolithic European inspirations to later Norse, Germanic, Saxon, Saami, and Siberian practices
to the work of modern spirit-workers, we will explore the spirit-working practices of my ancestors.
Taught by a northern-tradition shaman.

of the Gods as we offer a toast to them, our ancestors, and ourselves. Bring a chair, and a bottle to
share, and join us around the table as we celebrate the opening of FSG.

provided. Seriously, no one cares how you sound; Spirit loves your voice!!!
Passing It On: Intro to Curriculum Development & Group Formation - Renee
Leading/teaching a study group takes more than a love of (and commitment to) the material you're
teaching. Join us for this overview of the educational process, focusing on the first (and most important)
steps of the process: creating a curriculum, setting goals, choosing a time frame for your classes,
determining admission criteria, and surviving the seeker selection process. The workshop will also
explore some of the differences between teaching in a religious, rather than a secular, context. If time
permits, we will begin to discuss the nitty-gritty of teaching: lesson plans, teaching methods, etc. No
prior knowledge of teaching or planning is required. Part of the PoS track.
Poetry In Motion: Writing Great Invocations With Poetry - Rebecca Proch
This creative, salon-style workshop will bring out our inner bohemians as we gather to talk about the
role of poetry and poetic language in writing great invocations. We'll read a few powerful pieces aloud,
talk about what makes them effective, and play some creative writing games to awaken the muse.
You'll learn about poetic devices you can use to give your ritual writing more oomph, fixed forms that
lend themselves particularly well to invocation, and techniques to use when your stalled imagination
needs a kick start. Part open mic, part artist's lounge, bring your dark glasses 'cause this isn't your high
school poetry class! Recommended for beginner to intermediate ritual writers and those with a basic
knowledge of poetry, but all are welcome. Please bring a pad of paper and pen or pencil; there will be
a few extras on hand.
Possession - Kevin Filan & Kathy Latzoni
A brief look at possession in Vodou, compared and contrasted with possession and similar experiences
in other traditions. Possible topics of discussion would include the differences and similarities between
possession and "aspecting" or "shadowing" and a comparison and contrast between positive possession
experiences (possession by a Lwa, Samadhi, etc.) and negative (oppression, "demonic possession"
etc.).
Practical Creating and Manifesting - Michelle Zee
Are you blocked in your creating? Do you want to manifest more of what you want in your life but
don't know how? You are not alone! Come join us as we learn how to release the creative energy
inside all of us so that we can be happy and free in our creation. We will do rituals and practical
exercises to find out what we are each here to create. We will share ways to manifest our desires. We
will do:
When I create I make something I work in a void of non-creation and often I hear tapes in my head that lead me to procrastinate and avoid the void. I am scared of rejection, scared or mistakes, maybe even scared of success. How can we cross over these hurdles to follow the path of the creator? Come to this workshop to find out..
Practical Poly - Carol Boyer
Building on the foundation of several "Polyamory 101" workshops that have previously been offered at
FSG (as well as other festivals), "Practical Poly" is a slightly more advanced workshop, designed for
those who are already in an actively poly relationship, or who are giving serious consideration to
opening a relationship that is currently monogamous. The focus of the workshop will be on making
agreements, setting personal boundaries, sexual safety, and "damage control." Lecture with discussion.
Psychic Vampires - Raven Kaldera
What are psychic vampires, really? Are there different types? Can anyone become one, or are you
born that way? How can you protect yourself, and what do you do if you think you might be one? How
does psychic vampirism fit into energy work, and is it good for anything? We'll discuss the answers to
these questions, and more. Please have some familiarity with the concept of "energy work," or you
may be somewhat bewildered. By the author of "The Ethical Psychic Vampire".
Random Acts of Beauty/Art/Theater - The Discordian Staff
One of the many roles of the Trickster is to awaken others from the mundane humdrum and remind
them that life can be filled with beauty, art, and theater. The Discordian staff is happy to provide others
(and themselves) with the tools to assist in that reminding--whether you've always wanted to recite a
poem to the wind, or draw on the road with sidewalk chalk, or get a group of strangers to play
"parachute" together, this is your opportunity. Meet with Del, a trained troublemaker, who will avail you
with several options for random acts of beauty, art, or theater--or come with your own ideas. We will
meet at [location] for about 1/2 hour and then wander the camp.
Reiki Share - Paige Maiden
All levels and traditions of Reiki practioners are invited to experience Reiki at its finest. Whether you
use Reiki daily or feel you need a little practice, you will benefit from a Reiki share. I will begin with a
refresher course on some basic symbols, then lead the group in a relaxing, healing, cleansing group
Reiki session. Bring a towel or sarong to sit on and water to drink.
Reiki: An Introduction - Paige Maiden
Reiki means "light energy." Reiki is the conscious channeling of these universal energies. If you have
ever wondered "What is Reiki?," "Where does it come from?," and "Why do I need Reiki?" then this
informative class is for you. Learn how to find a teacher, about on line recourses and the changes that
can occur when you decide to learn Reiki. Whether you are just curious, actively seeking Reiki or just
need a refresher course, drop on by! I'd love to see you! All ages are invited.
Releasing The Ties That Bind - Elspeth
Part 2 of "Reclaiming Yourself." "Who's Pulling Your Strings?" is a prerequisite. These are challenging
classes. There will be homework. Be on time.
Retroactive Magic and You - Taylor Ellwood
This workshop focuses on defining what retroactive magic is (magic that is done in the present or future,
but affects the past) and then providing some techniques that people can use to do effective retroactive
magic. We will experiment with one of the techniques, specifically recall of the earliest memory in your
life, and then examine the possibilities that can occur in the past, in that memory. I also discuss the
precautions a person needs to take in doing this kind of magic, specifically realizing that there may be
some paradoxes to wrap your brain around once you do some retroactive magic.
Revenge of the Intro to Fire Spinning: Intermdiate - Hambone & Hobbit (Jay & Ben)
This is a continuation of the Introduction to Fire Spinning class. The class will build on the foundation
laid in the first class, introducing more intermediate/advanced moves and concepts. Less time will be
spent on the origin of poi, but fire safety will still be a top priority. Working with lit poi is a possiblity,
but will depend on the class attendance and comfort level of the instructors.
Ritual Maladies & Psychic Triage - Brian Gallagher
The more powerful your rituals become, and the more frequently you work with people new to their
paths, the more likely you are experience a variety of "ritual maladies," where people react to what's
happening in unexpected and sometimes dramatic ways. When this happens, what do you do? This
class provides a discussion of various things that can go wrong spiritually, energetically, psychically and
physically in ritual and discusses techniques you can use to counter them. This class will be a
combination lecture and discussion format and will cover topics such as flashbulbing, draining, zoning
out, empathic locks, energy sinks, crashes, channeling, possession and other maladies as well as
treatment methods such as "radical grounding," pushing out, re-tuning, removing from circle, blocking,
mundane-ing and shielding. This class is especially recommended for those in "protector" roles in rituals
such as warders, lifeguards, summoners, guardians and similar positions. The sharing of personal
experiences is especially welcome. This class is a good complement to the Controlling Your Energy
class. Part of the PoS track.
Ritual Priest/essing: The Sensory Spirituality Approach - Sabrina Mari
In this workshop, we use individual and partnered exercises to experience the skills and mimic the
responsibilities of a ritual leader and discuss our discoveries as a group. Participants will have the
opportunity to identify the key elements of good ritual and learn how to start polishing their own skills.
You will be asked to partner with another person for several exercises, so come with a working partner
or be willing to meet new people and work with them. Although the basic principles we explore will
apply to a very wide set of ritual formats, we will be working with the liturgy of the Blue Star tradition.
Please note that you will be working in sacred space. Arrive willing to listen, learn and explore with
respect and an open heart. Please do not bring young children or infants; the highly interactive nature of
this workshop makes childcare very difficult. All respectful adult and teen participants are welcome.
Part of the PoS track.
Sacred Boundaries - Sheri Winston
Our boundaries are where we meet the world around us. Learn to have healthy, clear, flexible and
appropriate boundaries by cultivating a 4-step process for identifying, marking, gate-keeping and
defending one's personal limits and borders. Exercises are set within a conceptual framework of
manifesting the archetypes and energies of the Divine Goddess/God, the Teacher, the
Guardian/Gatekeeper and the Warrior or the Lover. Learn to experience infinite freedom within your
own sacred boundaries. Experiential.
Sacred Space As A Template - Nybor
In a follow-up to "Changing The Form," Nybor speaks of the qualities of sacred space as a template to
better understand the relationship between the Astral and the physical, the mind and the body, and the
projective and receptive. Nybor will discuss the part that the psyche plays in spirituality, the necessity
for maintaining a spiritual and physical balance in your life and will take a close look at the interfaces
between earth, air, fire and water.
Self-Expression with Beading - Deb Davis
Beads are a human artifact as old as civilization itself. Humankind's fascination with the infinite variety,
beauty, mystery and charisma of beads has continued to the present day. Every human culture has
romanced the bead, and each civilization's spiritual beliefs, aesthetic tastes, social circumstances,
political history, glory and vanity has been expressed through beads. n this class you will learn to make
a simple jewelry piece or adornment with beads.
This class can only hold 15 people; please make sure to sign up early. A sign-up sheet will be near or at
the Registration desk. The class cost is $10.00 & up depending on what type of beads used (semi-precious stones and silver cost much more than glass, etc.). The instructor will provide tools, beads,
stringing material and findings. Glass, semi-precious stone, wood and bone beads will be available.
Lesson plan:
Sex, Gender, and the Soul for 21st Century Shamans - Tashi (Cheryl Costa)
As practitioners we learned Magick within the context of Western culture's limited binary view of sex
and gender. A 21st century Western shaman requires a more enlightened stance that can perceive the
soul as being beyond gender. This class seeks to advance your magickal practice by exploring your
concepts of sex and gender and how they may be limiting your magickal potential. Prerequisite: Ability
to frankly discuss sex and gender issues. (PG-16)
Shadowing Inanna: A Death Journey - Elspeth
We humans fear the unknown--be it people, places, situations or ideas. This working is designed to
ritually approach the death- and rebirth-experience. If you are able to completely immerse yourself in
the experience, death will no longer be the unknown.
Do not eat just before this workshop, bring something to lie down on, and prepare to face death.
Solitary vs. Group Spirituality and Training - Rev. Mark Crewson
This class will involve a presentation comparing the value of solitary vs. group spirituality as well as the
kinds of training offered by each. About halfway through the presentation, the floor will be opened to
class participants to share their opinions and experiences in the area.
Song Fu!: The Not-so-secret Art of Freeing your Voice in Ritual - Rebecca Proch
Cat goddess got your tongue? Are you embarrassed to sing in ritual? Strain to be heard in chants or
invocations? Just want to improve how you use your voice to maximum effect in a ritual setting? This
100% shame-free class will teach you some basic vocal techniques, drawn from both theatrical acting
speech training and professional vocalist training, to help you connect to the full power of your true
voice. We'll do some warmups, and then move onto specific ways to use posture, breath, and your
body's natural amplifiers to free your voice and let it soar! Every technique will be tried out on various
invocations, chants, and songs, including some that you might hear in rituals during the festival. Sound
energy is a powerful component of magic and meditation, and you don't need to be anointed as "a
singer" or "a great speaker" in order to experience the sheer joy of sounding a barbaric yawp to honor
God/dess! This class is aimed at beginners but all levels are welcome. Please make sure to bring water
or tea; lozenges will be available if needed.
Structured Teaching Techniques: Ritual Creation Worksheet and The Living - Brian Gallagher
Providing simple structures in which lessons can be taught is an effective teaching technique. This class
provides two structured resources for teachers to use, the Ritual Creation Worksheet (RCW) and The
Living Rede. Creating a ritual is a common practice for both groups and solitaires, but it is difficult to
start with a blank page and just "make one." The RCW provides a simple yet thorough template for
ritual design and includes sections for each part of a typical ritual with reminders to include details that
are often forgotten during ritual creation. On a broader scale, The Living Rede is a one-page poem that
was written to provide a simple framework for teaching many of the lessons involved in living life on a
spiritual path. It provides a simple system for teaching and learning these lessons to a depth suitable for
each student's level of development. Part of the PoS Track.
Tao Te Drum - Daveed Korup
Eclectic & ecstatic, ancient and eternal, the dumbek comes from the time of Miriam. Known as Tov
Miriam, the dumbek is an eyepiece to the past. People from Timbuktu to Samarkand all share a
common rhythmical heritage. With names like darabuka, dumbelek, and tablâ, the dumbek is a drum of
tremendous tonal range allowing for exquisite displays of emotional expression, pulsating hand work
and blinding finger play. The World of Dumbek will be an exotic adventure in Middle Eastern and
Central Asian folk drumming. The workshop offered at Free Spirit Gathering is based on material from
Daveed's Tao Te Drum series: Eastern Drumming for Western Drummers and Drumming by the
Numbers.
Tarot Explorations - Carly Lesser (Chava Chai)
Come explore a new realm of tarot beyond divination! In this workshop we will use tarot to unleash
the creative forces within us. We will experiment with using tarot cards as inspiration, brainstorming
tools, to enhance and refine the creative process, and to further our creative endeavors, as well as
deepen our understanding of the cards.
Teachers, Leaders & Facilitators - Trish Telesco
What does it take to step up to this kind of challenge? Who should and who should not lead? How do
we support our leaders and how do we continue "keepin' on" when our leaders have problems
inhibiting their capacity to serve? Do we want paid clergy, and if so how do we manifest that? How do
we weed out those self-proclaimed gurus who cast a negative shadow on our entire community while
still practicing "perfect love..." This is an open forum discussion, so please come with ideas and insights.
Technology and Magic - Taylor Ellwood
More and more Technology is becoming relevant to doing magic. Now we have cyber covens and e-lists where magical rituals and discussions occur. But beyond that even are other ways of integrating
technology into magickal workings. This workshop is focused on providing examples, both from my
own experiences, but also other peoples' experiences of using technology and magic together. I will
show you a mind machine and how to use it, as well as how you can use technology such as TVs,
computers, etc in your magical workings. If magic is to continue to evolve as a practice, the magician
must be willing to work with the tools of the time and this workshop is geared toward that goal.
The Art of Drum Maintenence - Alex from Earth Rhythm
This workshop is for anyone who has or is considering obtaining a personal drum. Alex will share
helpful hints on how to select the drum that's right for you. He will give instructions on preventative

in the absorption of contact and connection. This is an experiential workshop.
The Freeze - The Discordian Staff
It's HOT in June. Who wants to go do something that makes you *sweat*? Come to the Discordian
Freeze, a light hearted alternative. Scott Mohnkern, head of the Asatru track, will be offering a Blot to
Skaldi, the Goddess of ice/cold, and there may be frozen mead available for those who wish to
partake. Although it is a parody, the Freeze will be considered sacred space, and we ask participants
to treat it accordingly.
The Fundamentals of Creating Ritual Drama - Kaitlin Creed
The Fundamentals of Creating Ritual Drama begins with a historial overview of ritual dramas outside of
the Abrahamic (Judeo/Christian/Muslim) traditions, with an emphasis on understanding how these
events served the spiritual needs of their societies. Participants will then begin designing a ritual drama
experience to be presented for the FSG community.
The Gift of Touch - Arakeane
Explore with us the sensuality, sexuality, and spirituality of touch. This is a hands-on class where we
explore energy exchange facilitated by touch. Exercise participation is optional. Through touch, we
unlock spiritual insight more efficiently, reach deeper into the psyche of our partners, and experience the
joy of connectedness. We will examine the process of cycling energy and raising power. We will explore healing and other touch-related therapies. This class
is a guided exploration. Participation and sharing of experiences is highly encouraged.
The Magic Circle: Whys and Hows - Selene &Arakeane
One of the most common practices in Wicca and most other ritual traditions is the casting of the magic
circle. This workshop will focus on the history, psychology and practice of circle casting. The essence
of Magick is to raise power and direct it with your will. How and why is the circle used to accomplish
this? Why is a threefold circle common in both Wiccan and Ritual Magical traditions? Why elements
and quarters, sigils, colors, symbols, etc.? We will demonstrate circle casting and have a group
discussion.
The Nine Noble Virtues - Scott Allen Mohnkern
For the Asatrurar, and others following the Norse path, their lives are guided by the "Nine Noble
Virtues." In this class, we'll discuss the virtues, and how they can apply to our lives.
The Sorcery of Hekate - Inominandum
Hekate is NOT a crone! Inominandum will give a crash course in Hekate's development, moving from
her early Solar oriented role, through her Chthonic Dark Goddess Stage, into her role as a Cosmic
Goddess in the Chaldean Oracles. Spells from the Papyri Greacae Magicae, Defixiones tablets, and
other traditional sources will be presented, as will a rite received by Inominandum himself.
The Tribe of Hearts: Pagan Polyamory - Raven Kaldera
Polyamory, or ethical, negotiated non-monogamy, is a lifestyle that is growing by leaps and bounds in
the Pagan community. This workshop discusses how we Pagans do it differently from other groups, and
how polyamory can be used as a spiritual discipline of love and relationship. It's also a good basic
primer for people who just want to know what polyamory is all about, what it is that we do and don't
do. By the author of "Pagan Polyamory: Building A Tribe Of Hearts."
The Wand in The Lotus: Tibetan Sorcery - Inominandum
Inominandum has studied with various Lamas, Yogis and Ngakpas (Sorcerers) both here in America
and in the Himalayas. He will draw on this experience to present aspects of Tibetan Buddhism and
Bon, the pre-Buddhist religion of Tibet, that are of specific interest to Magicians and Witches.
Ti-Miste: The Little Mysteries - Kevin Filan & Kathy Latzoni
The "Ti-Miste" is a Vodou classification which incorporates "house spirits," "work lwa," "djabs," and
other lesser-known spirits. While not so well known as some of the major Lwa, the Ti-Miste can be
powerful assistants and guards. This workshop will discuss how you can work with the Little
Mysteries, and compare them to other "house spirits" like the European Fae.
Trance Work Basics - Whittney Matlock
Have you heard folks talk about trance and journey work and wondered what they meant? Have you
just started working with trance work and you have questions? This class is the resource you need. No
high magic, no robes required. Let's talk about how to create and guide them for others and how to
work with your own, and what to do if something goes wrong.
Understanding the Sabotager Within You - Taylor Ellwood
There are occasions in our lives where we did an action, and sabotaged ourselves by doing the action.
In hindsight, perhaps, we wondered what we were thinking. In this workshop I'm going to present
some techniques of working with the subconscious, and specifically working with what I call the
sabotager, which is the persona by which we sabotage ourselves because of some factor in the situation
that sets us at dis-ease. You will learn about why we sabotage ourselves, and how we can focus our
awareness on both our environment and on what's happening internally so that we avoid sabotaging
ourselves and learn to recognize how to change the circumstances we are in, to live a healthier/happier
lifestyle, instead of getting to the point, where the situation is resolved by the deliberate sabotage of our
own actions, by ourselves.
Vocal Skills for Ritual Part I: Breathing, Projection and Speech - Carolina Rodriguez
In this part of the workshop, participants will learn the basic elements of producing an efficient sound:
posture, inhalation technique, breath support, and connecting the production of the voice with the
breathing mechanism. This will be followed by basics on enunciation and projection of the spoken
word: declamation techniques for effective communication, both outdoors and indoors.
Vocal Skills for Ritual Part II: Chanting - Carolina Rodriguez
In this part of the workshop, I will review the concepts from Part I, and I will work with the participants
on applying the techniques to different styles of chants, both composed and improvised. Participants
will have a chance to lead the group in a composed chant, as well as improvise a chant to share with the
group. Preference for Part II is given to those who attended Part I.
Wholistic Sexuality for Young People - Sheri Winston
For those who are about to start or who have recently begun their sexual journey. My intention is to
provide the tools to navigate the complex waters of relationships, sexuality and intimacy. We'll touch on
issues relating to pleasure, internal authority, healthy boundaries, risk, responsibility, respect, decision-making, communication, self-care and connection. This is a lecture and discussion for teens only; to
ensure that the teen has appropriate permission, a parent/guardian must accompany the teen to the
workshop and then leave.

Come join members of the Correllian Nativist Tradition as we connect with the energies of Mother
Nature and Father Time in a Wiccan Waxing Moon Ritual. Ritual roles will be chosen from among the

Wiccan or even as Pagan to have a role. Also, people may just enjoy participating in the ritual without
taking a role.
WitchCraft: The RPG - Wilddragon
The ancient craft of the wise is now a new role-playing game from Eden Studios: CJ Carella's

of love, fire, flowers, and butterflies. She is the protector of artists, women in the public eye, and
houseworkers.
Zen Paganism: or, Why Buddha Touched the Earth - Tom Swiss
Since its beginnings 2,500 years ago, Buddhism has existed with, borrowed from, and lent to poly- and
pan-theistic paths including Hinduism, Taoism, Shinto, and Bon. Some of the same factors that have
lead to the rebirth of Paganism in our culture have also resulted in a greater interest in Buddhism in the
West, and many modern Pagans are finding that Buddhist ideas can lend depth to their practice. We
will discuss the basic tenets of Buddhism (mostly from a Zen perspective) and how they might be
integrated with Neo-Pagan practice, and do a few mindfulness meditation exercises. Part of the PoS
track.
