Free Spirit Gathering, Beltane, Fires of Venus, and Mythical Journeys are held at Ramblewood Retreat Center. Located near the Susquehanna River, about 90 minutes south of Philadelphia and 45 minutes north of Baltimore, Ramblewood is a short drive from both I-95 and US 1 in Darlington, Maryland.
Driving directions:
Take I-95 to exit 89 (1st exit south of the Millard E Tydings Bridge if you're coming from the north; last exit before the bridge if you're coming from the south). Once you get to exit 89, take MD Rt 155 West (towards Churchville). Go 3 miles. You'll come to a 3-way stop sign at the corner of Rt 155 and Rt 161; stop, then turn right onto MD Rt 161 north. Continue on Rt 161 for 4½ miles, and make a sharp downhill right onto Shuresville Rd (if you go past the bank, you've missed Shuresville Rd). Continue on Shuresville Rd for 1½ miles (bearing left at the fork to stay on Shuresville Rd) and make a right onto Silver Rd. Silver Rd becomes a hard-packed gravel road that takes you past private property and then to camp.
You can also get to Ramblewood using US Rt 1. If you're coming from the north, you'll cross the Conowingo Dam, and Shuresville Rd will be your first left after the Dam. Follow Shuresville Rd for ¾ mile and turn left onto Silver Rd.
For your further driving edification, here are a Local Map and an Area Map.
If you're coming from south of Washington DC and your route includes the Wilson Bridge (the bridge over the Potomac River that's part of I-95), please check the Wilson Bridge Project site for information on how the construction may affect your travel plans.
