Accupressure and Shiatsu for Couples - Tom Swiss
Shiatsu is a form of acupressure originating in Japan. Because it uses a form of contact that is less sensual on the skin, it can allow for a different sort of intimacy than more common Western forms of bodywork and massage. Come with a partner and learn how to give simple relaxing bodywork based on the principles of Chinese medicine. Please bring a towel or mat to lie on.

Babylon's Temple - The Pink Sphinx
The Pink Sphinx cordially invites seekers from all paths, sexual orientations, and gender identities to visit the Temple of Babylon during their stay at Beltane. Babylon's Temple is an ideal place to ground and center after a hard day's work or play. The Temple will be open for approximately 4 hours nightly after the conclusion of the Fires of Venus Ritual. Our staff will be happy to offer divination, lay counseling and energy work/assistance during visiting hours. The Temple staff requests that all seekers check in with our Hospitality Engineer before entering the space to receive a blessing and orientation about our Temple. Visitors are welcome to enter the sanctuary area and visit the shrine of Babylon, The Great Mystery. Seekers may meditate or leave offerings for themselves or loved ones at Babylon's lavish altar. Two screened areas will be available for those who wish to ground and center themselves with additional privacy as time permits. During visiting hours, seekers may wish to request erotic consultation with the Priestess or her Assistant Priest. They will be available as facilitators or advisors for many aspects of sacred sexual path working during the gathering. Visiting hours will be begin when our welcome sign is posted at the door and the lights around the Babylon's Star banner are lit. Hours will conclude for the night when the lights are extinguished and our welcome sign is removed.

Basics of Mythic Scene Work: Combining BDSM with Mythopoetic Role-Play for Magickal Purposes - The Pink Sphinx
For some of us, taking part in a 'scene' as a 'top,' 'bottom,' 'dominant,' 'submissive,' or 'switch' is, indeed, 'second nature.' For others, playing such a role may only be a once-in-a-lifetime act in ritual context. Beginner to Intermediate Drum Workshop - Conrad Kubiak
Conrad Kubiak, master drum-maker, performer, Teacher, and spiritual rythmatist will introduce the three basic tones of the Djembe, traditional concepts of hand techniques, care and maintenance of your drum, how to tune your drum, and a variety of drum rhythms that will sound great at the fire circle. Conrad's hand-crafted drums will be available for participants to use during this workshop.

Bellydance Fundamentals - LCourtesan
Bellydance, or balady dance, is a folk dance from Egypt which may have its origins in the temple dances of Egypt and the mysteries of eastern goddesses like Ishtar and Tanith. Most people know it today through Hollywood's glittery veil, but more and more people are coming to see the direct connection in moving as the body is designed to, and expressing love, joy, and sensuality. Men and women are both welcome, but this is not a class for spectators, so come to boogie! If possible, bring a scarf to tie around your hips.

Beneath the Skins: Leather Care Beyond Boots - carrie :)
Ever wonder how to revive that leather in your closet? Carrie will show you the tools and techniques you need to bring new life to your leathers. We'll also talk about honoring the spirits of not only those that gave their life for your leathers, but how to address your leather's current life and spirit. Leather is a living skin, and the best way to show respect for that life is to care for it both technically and spiritually. If you have a piece of leather that you have questions about, you are more than welcome to bring it. This class will cover basic care for all types of leathers, including bull, kangaroo, moose, and even snakeskin. There will be a demonstration as time permits.

Beyond Bowed Heads: Rituals for Dominance and submission - Lee Harrington
Rituals are a key part of any D/s relationship, whether we acknowledge them or not. From casual kisses as the door to formal slave poses, ritual objects such as collars to slave contracts, the BDSM world is rife with concepts of ritual—but what is a ritual? What are the levels of ritualistic interaction we have between one another? Let's look at rituals for day to day life (including how to get out of work or parent space), sacred time, intense connection, erotic play, solidifying relationships, changes within our relationships, and the taboo subject of the devastating loss of a relationship or its natural end. From terminology to developing your own code of ethical interaction, this class covers a bevy of styles and types of interpersonal reactions.

Binding Intentions: Fiber Magic Ritual - Lee Harrington
Turn your focus inward, find your will for transformation in the coming year, and work that will in this hands on learning ritual. Using the basics of binding fiber magic, we will apply our desires for the coming year into the physical manifestation of the cords before us, learn about types of knots and knot magic, basic dedication work, then bind all of our spells together into a single long line. From there we will learn about and create a dream catcher, focus our wills into catching our dreams, and from there learn the basics of tasseomancy (pattern reading for divination) using the web before us. Learn new magic techniques with your hands, and transform your life with the binding intentions of fiber ritual work.

Boundaries: Speaking Truth, Meeting Needs, and Releasing Attachments - Sarah Taub & Michael Rios
Sacred sexuality offers opportunities for many new experiences, but it can push our edges, too. How many of us say 'yes' to things we don't actually want out of guilt, obligation, or a fear of losing connection? In many ways, 'no' is the most intimate thing that one person can say to another. If I can hear your 'no,' I can trust your 'yes.' Practice the skills of self-awareness (what do I really want?), transparency (revealing our true desires), and non-attachment (dealing with the feelings associated with not getting our first choice) in this experiential workshop. These skills enable us to find the space of mutually desired and open-hearted connection that is available to us with each person.

Breaking the Ties That Bind - Wintersong Tashlin
'But I was sure it would last forever!' Over my years as a magician and a shaman I've had those words or something like them wailed at me more times than I can count. When we are in a relationship, the other person(s) we're with can seem perfect and it is not uncommon to see people form energetic and magical ties that last far beyond the end of the relationship. Sometimes this is deliberate, sometimes not. Rarely is it malicious. If this is sounding all too familiar, this is where you need to be. In this class, we'll talk a about how to sever these bonds when they are no longer wanted, and, more importantly, why they form and how to avoid forming them. Then there will be time for people who have, or are worried that they might have, these kinds of unwanted ties to have them ritually and magically removed.

Ceremony to Bring a Gentle End to Female Genital Cutting - Caroline Kenner
Join us if you are willing to pledge one drop of your precious life's blood to bring an end to female genital cutting. This practice began in Pharaonic times and continues today in many countries, among many cultures. The United Nations has declared this practice a human rights violation. Even as governments try to legislate female genital cutting out of existence, even as aid donors organize grassroots education, the practice continues. Young women and girls are deprived of normal sexual feeling by the surgical removal of the clitoris, usually without anesthetic or sanitary implements. We will use individually wrapped lancets and catch our drop of blood in a clean piece of cotton. Then we will call upon our Gods and Goddesses, and our compassionate helping spirits, to bring about a gentle end to female genital cutting in our lifetimes. We will then cast our blood into sacred fire. The famed occultist Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki created this ceremony, and first performed it in Zurich, Switzerland. This ceremony is presented with her encouragement and approval, as part of a year-long cycle with rituals to be held in several locations. Cleaning up the Other Sticky Stuff: Post Magical/Erotic Play Cleansing Techniques - Fire Tashlin
Do any of these scenarios sound familiar to you: Your top beat you with his magically enhanced flogger and while it was fun while it lasted, now you'd really like to get his energy out of your back. In the midst of a heavy cathartic scene your energies mingled with the other participants and now you feel a connection to them that you'd rather not have now that the scene is over. Your bits were eager, she was hot, and when said she wanted to work some sex-magic all you heard was the 'sex' part, now what? In this workshop, we'll learn energetic and magical techniques for getting yourself cleaned up when the fun is over.

Communicating: The Male and Female Brain - Beth and Preston
Have you ever noticed that the stranger (same gender) that you meet on the train or bus really 'gets' what you're talking about, then you go home and try to have the same discussion with your opposite-sex soul-mate, and the connection just isn't there? What is that all about? Clear communication can keep the home fires burning softly and the smolder in your relationship, but more often than not, attempts at communication ignite explosions that make no sense to either of you.

Like it or not, men and women are wired differently, and that shows up big time in our attempts to communicate. And it seems the more we try to go to those deep intimate and spiritual levels, the more likely the communication is to explode in our face. In this workshop we will explore how and why this difference exists. More importantly, we'll work with ways to explore and exploit this difference to bring that warm glow back into the relationship. Bring your partner or come alone, but do bring an open mind, a willingness to hear things from a different perspective, and your own communication questions and foibles to share as part of your exploration.

An informal gathering for folks with a new corset that needs blessing, or anyone with a pre-worn corset or garment that is outshrunk or outgrown that they would like to trade for another item. If you would like to participate, fill in your sizes on the board at the canteen.

Cuddle Party - Edie Weinstein
A Cuddle Party is a 3½ hour workshop/social lab that focuses on improved communication, enhanced relationship intimacy, boundary setting, and nurturing non-sexual touch in a safe, respectful, and loving setting. Participants attend in PJs, sweats, or yoga clothes. Those who have attended over the years have discovered that they float out of the workshop, feeling 'all loved up.' Their relationships with significant others take leaps and bounds growth. Some couples have met at CPs and some have met as a result of learning skills at CPs. Join in this fun, playful, powerful time and become part of this cuddly revolution that is becoming a world wide phenom! The workshop begins on time as posted in the program and once the doors close, those who are in the room will be the participants, so that we can create that safe container for the event to unfold. Please bring a blanket or quilt to spread out; pillows and stuffed animals are welcome too to make the space cuddlier.

Dance the Maypole - Puck
This is not just a class! After we teach about the tradition, we will actually decorate the maypole which will stand at the center the rest of our rituals. In case you don't know the fertility symbolism, just remember that a giant pole is inserted into a hole in the earth. Got that? Then we circle it, weaving it in ribbons, as we dance. Fun and frolicsome!

Dancing the Iron Pentacle - Sigre
The Iron Pentacle is a core tool within the Feri Tradition (passed by Victor and Cora Anderson). This foundational tool is both conceptual and energetic, making use of power words and freeing their energies for us to use. Feri priestess Thorn Coyle created movements to go along with the reclaiming of the energies of sex, pride, self, power and passion. We will explore the basics of the Iron Pentacle and the Dance. This session involves movement and is easy to follow even for non-dancers. This work is transformational and aids us in reintegrating that which has been taken from us by dominant culture or twisted beyond recognition. Sigre has been a Feri student for over 7 years and presents this non-oath bound teaching as a way to share Feri tools with all.

Darkest Light - Arakeane
We often think of energy as being white light, but white light isn't the only type of light we see, nor is white energy the only form we feel. On the various ends of the visible spectrum, we have the very dark reds and the very dark violets as our visibility fades into infrared and ultraviolet frequencies. So it is with energy, with various different forms of energy having different frequencies and complexities introduced with each nuance. There is often been a fear that dealing with the darker lights, or forms of energy, verge on the notion of using black light, energy, or magick. This is clearly a misunderstanding. The darkest lights shine just as brightly and in no way, shape, or form bear a similarity to the notion of black or the absence of light. One of the darkest lights in energy work is working with sex and BDSM. Incorporating energy work into sex and BDSM will be the focus of this discussion and workshop.

This class will cover how to use your imagination while decorating with needles and staples, and how to incorporate them into a ritual and dress a body with all kinds of designs.

Driving Toward Ecstasy III - Kate

Edible Mehndi/Henna Body Art for Love and Fun - Crystal Kini
Mehndi is an ancient temporary Body Art practiced in many Tribal cultures from Africa to Asia. The main ingredient traditionally used is an herb commonly known as Henna. The beautiful, intricate designs vary from culture to culture, but they often have a purpose... usually spiritual in nature to help facilitate a change such as a wedding, coming-of-age, healing, or even death. In this workshop, we will discuss symbols and their meanings as well as personal symbols and their intent. Then, we will draw them onto ourselves or our partners whereby blessing them—and as an extra bonus, we'll do it with Chocolate! Share the love, the positive intentions, and your artistic talents- even if you didn't know you have them! Learn how many small, simple motifs grow into large intricate designs (there is an analogy there!). We'll have sample designs to try, and we'll have lots of Chocolate Henna to practice with. The best part is: you can lick it off and try again! Join in the fun, and learn a little too! A high grade milk chocolate fudge will be used as the henna. A low glucose, all natural, sugar free, dairy-free chocolate henna may also be available if we can get the recipe perfected—and delicious! We will have all natural, homemade soy-free and sugar-free icing as well, just for a little contrast. Traditional Henna will also be available for designs that will last a week or two Please Note:Traditional Henna is not edible! Bring your clean body and a towel or blanket to sit on. When many of us began our journey into Paganism and/or Magick, we started with the classical elements of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. In this workshop/demo, the classical elements will be represented and personified through the presence and use of BDSM tools! This is a combination demo/participation class. The Fine Art of Compersion - Anita Wagner

The Gnostic Mass: Liber XV - Stephanie
The Gnostic Mass is the central ritual, public and private, of the Ordo Templi Orientis. It distills the joy of the sexual union into a ceremonial magick rite, which to the discerning may reveal many universal truths. It is a participatory ritual, in that all present partake of the communion. We will provide a briefing ahead of time to familiarize participants with various steps and signs in the ritual; we strongly recommend reading Liber XV ahead of time to get some idea of what to expect. Water will be available for those who are unable to consume wine. [21+]

A Goddess's Secrets: The Other Reason for Belly Dance - LCourtesan
Legend says that belly dance comes from temple dances of ancient Eastern goddesses, meant to prepare women for the childbearing process. For them, sex and birth were part of a continuum of living, so training for one included training for the other. In this class, we will take the fundamental movements and relearn them as fabulous techniques for carrying and birthing a baby, giving yourself an orgasm without visibly moving, and being really, really good at sex, in an intentional and conscious way. Please have attended the Fundamentals class, or have some previous bellydance experience.

Intimate Exchanges - Kali Morgan
A workshop on the psychology of power exchange for couples. Have you or your partner fantasized about dominance and submission but never quite understood the how's and why's? Littles Time with the Faeries: Beltane for the Child Within - Del
A time set aside for littles and others with a child-like spirit to come hear Beltane tales of the faeries. Mr. Del will also provide arts and crafts materials for drawing and coloring. A time to take a breath of light and light-hearted fun. Playdough, bubbles, and other toys will likely be available as well.

M/s Spirituality - Dan and dawn
Join Dan and dawn, a lifestyle couple of many years and founders of the Path of the Qadishti Sacred Sexuality program, as they share how they found the M/s dynamic to be a spiritual path for them both. The Tiniest Athame: Using Needles for Energy Work and Magic - Wintersong Tashlin
Piercing the skin can be an intimate and powerful experience, and can lead to all sorts of reactions in both the person piercing and being pierced. But what about using the needle itself as a tool to direct energy to a purpose? In this class, we will explore ways to use needle play techniques to move energy into and out of the body or aura, perform cleansing, healing, and other forms of spell work that lend themselves well to this atypical tool. Familiarity with either needle play or energy work/magic would be helpful.

Touching the Divine - Bewitching Baroness
Touch is absolutely necessary for life. Babies will die without it. The US is the second least touching society in the world, close behind England. I believe this to be connected to high levels of stress and anxiety and their resulting heath problems in our culture. In this class, we are going to explore the positive connections made through touch in a specific fashion I like to call adoration. Touching someone is communicating with the Divine in them. Partners are not necessary. We will be working in small groups. Nudity is encouraged (barring freezing temperatures) as we will be working hands-on with these techniques. Bring towels or blankets for comfort and warmth; we will be laying down on them for the body of the workshop.

Using the Time 'Between' to Draw the Love You Want - Sabrina Mari
The time 'between,' when one relationship has died and another has yet to be born, can be a powerful time for creating lasting happiness. This workshop, taken from a longer weekend intensive, weaves together Eastern and Western spiritual traditions to help those living 'between' reshape the future of their sexual/romantic lives. We will use interactive exercises, reflection and even play to explore where we've been and clear a path towards where we want to go. You will be asked to partner with others for several exercises, so come willing to meet new people and work with them. Plan to leave with a new daily practice designed to strengthen your ability to find and accept love. Bring a notebook, a pen, and the willingness to take a few risks!

You Want to Do What? or, BDSM 101 - Kate
An overview of what you can expect to see or hear in the BDSM community, as well as issues related to playing in 'public.' This workshop will review etiquette, implements, and toys. Terminology and general concepts will be outlined and types of play will be demonstrated. Questions will be welcomed! This workshop is highly recommended for folks new to the BDSM Scene who would like to attend the Festival's dungeon space (which will follow this workshop). Bring an open mind, your ideas and your questions!

Zen and the Art of Love - Tom Swiss
The Buddha required chastity from his monks, holding that sexual desire was a sure path to suffering. Two millennia later, respected Zen Master Ikkyu—noted for wearing his monk's robes to brothels—wrote poems like “a woman is enlightenment when you're with her and the red thread / of both your passions flare inside you and you see.” How do we resolve these teachings? Focusing on the “Red Thread” tradition of Zen, we'll discuss if and how we can apply the Buddhist principles of mindfulness, compassion, and non-attachment to sex and love.
